Letting You Know

This last couple of weeks have been hell around here. With the weather change I'm afraid I have spent more time at the ER than I have at home. I don't know if I will manage to get anything else up for you before Christmas. I am so weak I will be closing down my computer right after I type this.

If these meds help (praying they do) then I promise to try and get you a few more things. I had so many ideas and templates started I feel terrible I was unable to get them to you.

Triangle Frame

I went looking for bows and found some things sitting in my files that I thought I had already shared with you. So I got sidetracked and forgot about the bows. I'll try to get some bows up here tomorrow. :)

Christmas Bows

Finally a bow that actually resembles a bow! lol I was surprised to see I didn't have a category for bows which means this is the first I've shared. Shoot, I have a folder full of bows - well that's what they are suppose to be! lol Guess I need to get busy, clean some up and get them up here.

Frost Your Cookie

Supplies Needed:

Premade Cookie
Sprinkle/Sugar: Download HERE
These are saved as png files so those who don't use PSP can still use them. :)



1. Open your premade cookie - hit shift D to duplicate and close original.

2. On the cookie layer go to Selections - float - defloat.

3. Selections - Modify - Contract by 35



4. Add new layer and flood fill with the color of your frosting.



5. Deselect ........ using your Smudge Brush with the following settings:
Shape: Round Size: 25 Hardness: 100 Steps: 25 Density: 100 Thickness: 100 Rotations: 0 Opacity: 100

6. Push your color around as if frosting your cookie. Remove any sharp edges as frosting is never perfect.



7. When your happy with the shape of your frosting add an inner bevel with the following settings:





8. Now just add a tube of sprinkles, sugar or whatever you want for texture and a narrow drop shadow to make the sprinkles pop.


9. Merge down and your done!

Sugar Cookie Correction

I'm so embarrassed and owe an apology to the 120 people who downloaded my sugar cookies! I didn't realize when I saved them as a png file I would collapse the layers.

I have separated the cookies each to their own png file and rezipped the folder.

This has been saved as a psd file and has a single pearl included so you can change the location of the pearls. Both words are also on separate layers to make it easier to place them where you want them. :)

Wreath Script

Have I mentioned I am taking a class in script writing? Well this was our second lesson so I'll share it with you. :) Be kind! lol

This script was done in PSP9 but should work in newer versions. Please be sure you read the instructions included in the zip as it will give you settings for your filter. Although the supplies are included in the zip use your imagination and add tubes, etc of your own.

Christmas Frame

This started out as a challenge but with everyone asking how I did it I decided to share it here. Later I will upload a template because the procedure is just too complicated to make it into a simple tutorial. And I'm not much of a tutorial writer anyway! lol So keep checking back for the template. :)

No dropshadow on frame and it is much larger than shown. Graphic Bunnies are also not included.

Sugar Cookies

I had fun making these but I kept asking my hubby if the frosting looked right. The next thing I knew he was up eating. lol He said they made him hungry.

I had so many requests for how I did the frosting I did a quick tutorial which I'll try to get posted to you later.

They are much larger than the preview, each on their own layer and without the drop shadow.

Blue Velvet Kit

Looking at this I don't know where my velvet went! lol This is my first full kit and probably the last unless they are smaller. The background is plain because it just got too busy! I hope you find something in here you can use. Two of the butterflies and two ribbons are transparent.

I couldn't believe it took me 28 minutes to upload this. Grrrr! I hate dialup but I refuse to pay what they want for a faster cable connection in this rural area.

Tonight is Nuts!

I'm going nuts here so just ignore me! lol I uploaded the quickpage only to discover I hadn't reduced it for the blog preview. And then Photobucket kept posting the larger of the two previews which drove me nuts! I found comments that I didn't know the blog even had! ROFL another duh moment and then my shout box went nuts! I have four messages from me to me I guess since the sentence is cut in half! But a few good things did happen now if I can get them posted without messing that up I'll be happy.

Blue Velvet Quick Page

Okay, okay I know I blew it again! I got upset over the weekend which is a very big no no with my condition. I was sicker than a dog yesterday. But I am almost done. :)In the maintime here is a Quick Page using the colors of the kit I hope to have up tomorrow. I have the papers done it's the elements that are giving me a bad time! Everytime I think I'm done and get ready to make the preview another item jumps out at me and I think ....... I really should add that! lol

Haven't Disappeared

I thought I had better let you know I haven't posted anything recently because I'm trying to put together a kit! lol Wow, didn't know it took so much time matching colors and making elements. It won't be huge but will be a start.
